India, July 6 -- Health, Food Supply and Disaster Management Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari today said that the process of setting up of six new medical colleges in Jharkhand has begun. Dr Ansari was speaking with Congress National General Secretary K.C. Venugopal in New Delhi on Saturday.
During the meeting, Dr. Ansari apprised Venugopal of the achievements of the Health Department of Jharkhand. He said that apart from six new medical colleges, construction of 'Medico City' will start soon at a cost of Rs 4000 crore.
He also informed Venugopal that the dream of the much-awaited RIMS-2 in Ranchi will come true soon. It is planned to be inaugurated by Sonia Gandhi and Dishom Guru Shibu Soren.
