Garhwa, April 17 -- An investigation has begun into the deaths of four children. They drowned in a pit in Udhsuggi village on Tuesday. The incident is being investigated by district officials who have visited the site. Locals claim the dangerous pit was caused by illegal mining. They say too much soil was taken from around a hill. This created a large hole that led to the children's deaths. Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and their team checked the site on Wednesday. Villagers said the land belongs to the government.
