BHOPAL, Jan. 26 -- On the eve of Republic Day 2025, the Union Home Ministry has announced the prestigious President's Medal to four IPS officers from Madhya Pradesh and Meritorious Service Awards to 17 other officers and employees. However, no officers from the state received the Gallantry Award (Veerta Medal) this year. These awards would be given on Agust 15.
Among those honored in the Correctional Service, one officer received the President's Medal, and five others were recognized with the Meritorious Service Award.
