PARADIP, Sept. 18 -- Abiding by instructions of the Ministry of Shipping, the Paradip Port Trust (PPT) has started observing the "Swachhta Pakhwada" with a Swachhta pledge administered by Chairman Rinkesh Roy to Head of the Departments (HoDs) and Deputy HoDs in front of the administrative building here.
Due to Covid-19 guidelines, different HoDs and staff took pledge in their respective office premises maintaining social distancing norms.
On the occasion, Roy flagged off a mechanical road sweeping machine with Make in India concept. The machine would be plying on routes outside the harbour area under the supervision of PPT Executive Engineer MR Sutar.
