Bhopal, March 12 -- Launching an extensive load checking drive focused on non-domestic and industrial (power) consumers to ascertain correct electricity load, the Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company (MKVVCL) on Tuesday urged consumers to voluntarily declare and regularise additional load to avoid penalties.
When a new electricity connection is applied for, the company calculates the load requirement based on a survey of the premises. The approved load, known as connected load, is then integrated into the power system.
