Jamshedpur, March 6 -- In a significant move to improve educational facilities for tribal students, Potka MLA Sanjib Sardar met Chamra Linda, Minister of Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, and Backward Class Welfare Department, Jharkhand, demanding the construction of a new 100-bed hostel within the Tribal Welfare Hostel campus at LBSM College, Karandih, Jamshedpur.
During his meeting, MLA Sanjib Sardar highlighted the critical shortage of accommodation in the existing Tribal Welfare Hostel, where 250 to 300 students currently reside. Due to insufficient space, many students are forced to rent rooms elsewhere or commute long distances daily, which adds to their financial and physical struggles.
