Jamshedpur, Feb. 27 -- In a decisive move to enhance tribal representation in state policy-making, the State government has constituted the Jharkhand Tribes Advisory Council (JTAC). Among its distinguished members is Potka MLA Sanjib Sardar, a well-known advocate for tribal rights, whose appointment is expected to significantly influence tribal policies in the state.

The council has been established with the primary objective of providing strategic suggestions for the social, economic, and cultural development of the Scheduled Tribes.
