New Delhi, July 21 -- Across India, in thousands of post offices - from crowded urban centres to remote rural counters - postal workers are engaged in a silent but symbolic mission.
As part of the Government of India's Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, they have been tasked with selling eco-friendly national flags priced at '25 each, ensuring delivery into the hands of citizens before August 15, 2025. At one such post office in New Delhi, a team of 54 employees is carrying out this directive with quiet efficiency. Each staff member has been given a quota of 25 flags to sell. It's not an optional campaign-it's a duty, assigned as part of official work.
