DALTONGANJ, Feb. 28 -- Postal ballot cell in Palamu has geared up for the coming lok sabha election.
Nodal officer of this cell A K Tiwary, SDM sadar, today convened a meeting of his cell and reviewed the progress.
Speaking to this correspondent Tiwary said "There are 42,000 postal ballot users. We are determined to have a 100 percent utilisation of the postal ballots. The ECI is very strict with postal ballots and wants no laxity in it."
The total number of voters in Palamu is 16,93,169.
The figure of postal ballot pegged at 42,000 may appear thinner but postal ballot holds its own importance in electoral practice and its cent percent use is a happy sign of inclusiveness to the election / polling.
