India, Feb. 18 -- A late-night motorcycle stunt celebrating India's cricket victory nearly triggered a law-and-order situation in Old Rajender Nagar.

The incident occurred around 11.30 pm on February 15 on Bada Bazar Road under the Rajender Nagar police station. Police said the rider performed dangerous stunts and rode in a rash and negligent way on a public road. This posed a serious threat to pedestrians and other commuters. The rider caused havoc, leading an angry crowd to gather and attempt to assault him.
