Bhopal, May 23 -- Kamla Nagar Police in Bhopal have arrested three criminals involved in stealing valuables from women passengers by posing as fellow commuters in shared autorickshaws. The accused - Nasir alias Sutkesh alias Nasiruddin (55), Abdul Kalam Ansari (33), and Mateen (45) - are residents of different areas in Bhopal. The autorickshaw used for these crimes, bearing registration number MP 04 RA 8132, has been seized.
Nasir, the prime accused, is a notorious criminal with 45 pending cases including theft, assault, and murder. Another accomplice, Majid alias Golden, remains at large with 15 criminal cases against him.
