India, Dec. 23 -- A Delhi Police constable's fearless action averted a major tragedy in West Delhi's Mohan Garden area after a gas cylinder caught fire inside a four-storey residential building. The incident took place on the night of December 20, when a PCR call was received around 9.39 pm reporting a cylinder blast and fire in a building under the jurisdiction of Mohan Garden police station. The building houses 16 families, and residents were at risk as flames spread rapidly inside a kitchen on one of the floors.
