India, Nov. 29 -- Delhi Police on Friday conducted a large virtual awareness session on cybercrime for school children and teachers, connecting lakhs of students from more than 1,000 Government and private schools across the city.

The programme, held in partnership with the Directorate of Education and the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), ran from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Adarsh Auditorium in Police Headquarters.

The event is part of a series aimed at protecting vulnerable groups, especially school children, from fast-growing online threats.
