Dhar, April 3 -- In a major breakthrough, the Dhar Police have arrested four miscreants involved in a violent armed robbery at a residence in Katarkheda village, seizing looted silver jewelry worth Rs 4.5 lakh and Rs 50,000 in cash. The crime, which took place in the early hours of March 28, saw a gang of 10-15 armed miscreants storm the house of complainant Baksingh Kharte, holding his family hostage at gunpoint before making off with valuables.

According to the police report, the robbers arrived at the village in a Tufan vehicle and hid it in a nearby forest before proceeding on foot to Baksingh's house.
