Bhopal, April 21 -- District police have on Saturday recovered over Rs 1 crore during raids conducted at different places where betting was operated.
Police said that raids were conducted at seven places and massive amount which accounted to around Rs 90 lakh was recovered from two places which was Rs 56 lakh and Rs 29 lakh.
During the raids, Rs 29 lakh was seized from Bharat Soni who owns Bharat tent house at Habibganj while Rs 56 lakh was seized from Naresh Hematani who runs a bakery in Kolar area and recovered money from his house at Mahabali Nagar in Kolar.
