Bhopal, April 6 -- Passengers at Bhopal Railway Station will now be able to avail of a smart, budget-friendly accommodation option, with the opening of the first pod hotel at platform number 6 on Saturday
Inspired by Japan's capsule hotels, the facility was inaugurated by MP Alok Sharma and Divisional Railway Manager Debashish Tripathi. It offers compact yet comfortable stays, ideal for short layovers and overnight transits.
The pod hotel features 58 single pods and 20 family pods, each equipped with a bed, locker, reading light, TV, Wi-Fi, and USB port. A lounge, washroom, and cafeteria add convenience.
