India, Sept. 13 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Manipur on Saturday, two years since ethnic violence erupted in the state claiming over 200 lives. He will lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth'8,500 crore. The visit to Manipur comes amid repeated criticism against the PM by Opposition parties not visiting the violence gripped State. Manipur is presently under the President's Rule since February, following the resignation of N Biren Singh as the chief minister.
