Bhopal, March 1 -- Hanumanganj police nabbed, an imposter who duped an auto-rickshaw driver of his mobile phone by posing as CBI official on Saturday; accused was tracked and nabbed by police.
The nabbed accused identified as Raju Singh who duped auto rickshaw driver Sameer Khan.
In his complaint victim stated that the accused approached him and introduced as CBI official and asked for documents of his auto rickshaw and while he was providing documents accused took mobile phone. After victim provided the mobile phone accused who was having bike bearing registration number MP04QF1587 escaped with the mobile phone.
Police registered a case under sections 420 and 406 of the IPC and started further investigation.
