Bhopal, Feb. 25 -- Earlier, the martial arts seemed as an activity, but now its forms are performed on stage. A spontaneous performance of Akhada Martial Arts left the Bhopalites totally mesmerised on Wednesday. The performance was held at Regional Science Centre auditorium by renowned Akhada artist Bhagwandas Raikwar.
It is to be noted that the event was organised by the Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) under horizon series.
There were interesting performances by 18 artists on poles, fencing and various poses. The dress and the beat of the drum was transmitting energy in the audience. The eye-catching performance was the human pyramid and dhera performance. The audience were smitten with this energetic performance.
