Chandigarh, April 30 -- Determined to deliver on the Punjab Government's promise of a 'Nasha Mukt Punjab', the state Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav on Tuesday issued a firm ultimatum to all district police chiefs - completely eradicate drugs from the streets by May 31, or face direct accountability. Chairing a high-level meeting with all Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) and Commissioners of Police (CPs), DGP Yadav made it clear that responsibility will extend beyond top officers to include every Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Station House Officer (SHO).
