Jammu, May 12 -- After India put Pakistan "on notice" and made clear that any further provocation would be met with fierce retaliation, the situation remained largely peaceful across the North Indian cities of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan on Sunday.

No fresh reports of ceasefire violations or drone sightings were reported from anywhere in the region till late Sunday evening. However, the Indian Armed Forces have been kept in a state of high alert to prevent any ceasefire and airspace violations.
