India, Jan. 30 -- Delhi Water Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma on Thursday ordered the suspension of three Delhi Jal Board (DJB) zonal revenue officers following a surprise inspection. During his visit across Rajendra Nagar, Kanhaiya Nagar, and Ashok Vihar, the minister took firm action over alleged administrative lapses, delays in grievance redressal, and supervisory failures.

The zonal revenue officers of Rajendra Nagar, Kanhaiya Nagar, and Ashok Vihar were suspended with immediate effect. In addition, the assistant sub-officer (ASO) of the Kanhaiya Nagar zone was also placed under suspension.
