India, Nov. 25 -- The mushrooming coaching centres across the country which is becoming a cause of acute stress for students or competitive exam aspirants have now come under the scanner of a Parliamentary Committee which has decided to review the "proliferation" of coaching centres.

According to a Lok Sabha bulletin, the decision with utmost urgency has come after rising suicides due to stress amongst students particularly the plus two students who are also aspirants to several competitive exams. The panel will review social issues arising from it and existing legislation on the matter.
