Bokaro, April 23 -- The Jharkhand Parents' Association has raised serious concerns over the ongoing irregularities in private schools ofBokaro, urging the District Commissioner to take firm action.

The association highlighted issues such as annual fee hikes, forced book purchases from select vendors, and imposition of charges like re-admission, development, and annual fees-putting financial pressure on parents.

Parents demanded that books be made available in the open market and arbitrary fee hikes be stopped. They called for strict enforcement of theJharkhand Education Act, 2017to curb the unregulated practices of private schools.
