DALTONGANJ, April 7 -- Palamu is to ready 55 temporary helipads for the coming lok sabha election.The temporary helipad is at the rate of minimum one each 21 blocks here in Palamu.
Some hard and difficult to reach locations fraught with dangers like that of extremism have more than one helipad.
There is one permanent hawai adda in Chiyanki barely 2 and a half kilometer away from Daltonganj. It is fit for choppers for all seasons but not for any even six seater plane.
Nodal officer of the Karmik Koshaang Kundan Kumar who is additional collector Palamu said 55 helipads will be used to land and take off all types of the chopper like Dhruv and others.
He said the longitude and latitude of the helipads have to be ascertained properly.
