DALTONGANJ, Jan. 28 -- Palamu administration is gearing up for a two day Rajkiya Adivasi Vikas Maha Kumbh Mela at Dubiya Kharn about 10 kms away from Daltonganj town.
The two day Rajkiya Adivasi Vikas Maha Kumbh Mela is slated for February 11 and 12.
An expected crowd of 15,000 to 17,000 is expected on the inaugural day February 11 which gets half the very next day as past shows have proved.
Starting since mid nineties this Mela has been a favourite of the politicians ruling and the opposition alike all to grab tribal votes and tribal sentiments.
The two day event has its own charm and challenge. First is the gambling. The gamblers come here from Ranchi and Gumla.
