New Delhi, March 24 -- The areas of Palam Assembly, including Palam Extension, Madhu Vihar, Rajapuri, Mahavir Enclave, and surrounding localities, have been grappling with the persistent issues of sewer overflow and contaminated drinking water supply for a long time.
Despite numerous efforts, Delhi Jal Board has not taken any concrete steps to address these issues, forcing local residents to live in extremely distressing and unhygienic conditions. In light of this situation, a Mahapanchayat was organised under the joint aegis of the Federation of South and West District Welfare Forum and RWAs, with the participation of all NGOs, RWAs, prominent social activists, advocates, doctors, and concerned citizens from the region.
