DALTONGANJ, May 19 -- Padwa police in Palamu on Sunday morning May 18 discovered body of a 30 year old man identified as Ranjit Mehta an auto rickshaw driver by profession on the stretch of road between Padwa and Paton.
Back here in Daltonganj irate residents of Nimiya village blocked the Daltonganj Aurangabad road demanding arrest of the killer of Mehta as well as recovery of his father who has disappeared over the last four months.
Mehta was crushed with stone and boulder said the Padwa police. There was no sign of any fire arms shot.
Blood soaked stones and boulders were lying near the body. Police have preserved it for evidences.
The yellow gamchha of the deceased having profuse stains of blood was found on the body.
