NEW DELHI, March 18 -- In its first meeting as a chairman with the members of the 'Peace and Harmony Committee' constituted to regulate the content distributed on social media in the wake of Delhi riots, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) senior leader Raghav Chddha said that the committee has till now received 7,732 complaints including 232 emails through the dedicated Whatsapp and mobile numbers shared by the Delhi Government.
The Delhi Government has shared dedicated numbers and asked people to report hateful messages or content that comes to their notice.
The committee has screened 2,210 such complaints so far and out of which 504 complaints were found to be inflammatory, provocative and incriminating in nature while 311 were found useless.
