India, Nov. 21 -- Kerala is redefining digital inclusion. The Kerala Fibre Optic Network (KFON) has surpassed 1,33,158 active connections, turning the state's vision of universal internet access into reality. Launched under Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's initiative, KFON offers affordable, high-speed internet to every household.

In just over a year, it has connected homes, Government offices and enterprises across the state, including 91,621 Fibre-to-the-Home connections and 14,195 free connections for families below the poverty line. More than 27,000 businesses and institutions now benefit from KFON's high-capacity lines, giving a major boost to Kerala's digital economy.
