Ranchi, Sept. 22 -- The Opposition on second day of monsoon session tried to corner State Government on several issues such as stir of assistant policemen, withdrawing the controversial land mutation bill, poor law and order situation in State, and demand for judicial probe over alleged hunger death of Dalit families in Bokaro district and shifting of engineering college from Chandankiyari in Bokaro district.
BJP MLA from Sarath Randhir Kumar Singh also raised the issue of assault of media persons at Madhupur block of Deoghar district.
Earlier, as the session commenced, BJP lawmakers holding placards staged a demonstration outside the Assembly portico in support of their demands.
