India, Dec. 20 -- Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has issued a stern public notice, cautioning the general public, vendors, financial institutions and all other stakeholders against a fraudulent entity operating under the name "ONGC INDIA". The Maharatna public sector undertaking (PSU) has clarified unequivocally that the unauthorised entity has no relationship, affiliation, or association whatsoever with the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited or any of its subsidiaries or Group companies.ONGC stated that the impersonation, which uses the name "ONGC INDIA" and related representations, appears to be with a "malafide intent to mislead stakeholders and cause wrongful gain.
