Jabalpur, May 19 -- A long-standing dispute turned violent late Friday night in the Sarra Peepal New Basti area of Jabalpur, leaving one youth dead and two others seriously injured in a brutal stabbing attack.
The incident occurred around 3 AM under the jurisdiction of Ranjhi police station, where four assailants-Hemant Tiwari, Abhishek Francis, Martin Anna, and Manoj Tiwari-allegedly attacked three victims with swords and knives. Sumit Chaudhary, one of the victims, sustained critical injuries and later succumbed to his wounds while undergoing treatment at the medical college hospital.
According to victim Gurcharan Chaudhary, the violence erupted when local resident Gurcharan Mahobia stepped outside after hearing a loud argument.
