Odisha, July 16 -- After fighting for her life for three days, the second-year Integrated B.Ed student of Fakir Mohan (Autonomous) College, Balasore, who set herself ablaze following alleged sexual harassment by a professor died on Monday night at AIIMS in Odisha. The victim took the extreme step on Saturday over alleged inaction against the professor and suffered 95 per cent burns.
The victim's body was sent to her village after an autopsy examination at the hospital. Thousands of people thronged the crematorium grounds to attend her cremation in Balasore.
