Bhopal, May 19 -- A 35-year-old On Board Housekeeping Staff (OBHS) employee, Sugandhi Lal, sustained critical injuries while attempting to board a moving train at Bhopal Railway Station on platform number 1. The accident occurred at 7:05 PM as the Chandigarh-Yeshwantpur Sampark Kranti Express (Train No. 22686) was arriving.
Officials reported that Lal lost his balance while trying to board an air-conditioned coach for cleaning duties and fell into the gap between the coach and the platform. He suffered serious injuries to his head, waist, and legs and lost consciousness at the scene.
