BHOPAL, Feb. 12 -- The Madhya Pradesh government, in a the State Cabinet meeting, announced its plan to provide 20 lakh jobs to the youth over the next five years. However, the announcement has sparked criticism from the opposition, with the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) questioning its credibility.
Reacting to the government's statement, NSUI National Spokesperson Viraj Yadav took a sharp jibe, comparing it to the BJP-led central government's 2014 promise of creating two crore jobs annually. "Eleven years later, that promise remains unfulfilled, and now the Madhya Pradesh government seems to be treading the same path, throwing numbers in the air without any concrete plan," Yadav remarked.
