Mhow, March 12 -- A major crackdown has been initiated in connection with the violence that erupted in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, on Sunday night. The police have taken strict action under the National Security Act (NSA) against two accused, Sohail, son of Shahid Qureshi, and Ejaz, son of Mohammad Rafiq, both residents of the Mhow police station area. This action was taken based on the report submitted by the Superintendent of Police, Indore Rural. According to the police, the two accused were responsible for inciting communal unrest following a victory procession celebrating India's win in the ICC Champions Trophy.
