Bhopal, April 20 -- In a significant breakthrough, Bhopal police arrested Sahil alias Tausif, a 23-year-old wanted criminal with a Rs 5,000 reward on his head, from the Qazi Camp area on April 18. The arrest was made by the Hanumanganj police following a well-planned operation based on a confidential tip-off. A sharp knife was recovered from his possession during the arrest.
A resident of Qazi Camp behind Danish Hotel, Sahil had been absconding after being involved in a violent assault, extortion, and arson incident, and had previously been banished from the district due to his criminal background.
