New Delhi, April 15 -- The transport department has issued a public notice regarding 55 lakh overage vehicles or End of Life Vehicles (ELV) emphasising that parking such vehicles is prohibited in all the public places, including areas outsideresidences which are consideredpublic places.
According to the notice, "General public is informed that the government has deregistered 5.5 million over-aged vehicles (diesel vehicles more than 10 years old and Petrol/CNG vehicles more than 15 years old). The list of such vehicles can be accessed by visiting the Transport Department website at https://transport.delhi.gov.in.
