Guwahati, March 26 -- The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is advancing steadily in its electrification efforts, supporting Indian Railway ambitious vision of achieving 100 per cent electrification and net-zero carbon emissions. A major milestone has been reached with the successful electrification of the Alipurduar Division (APDJ), while electrification efforts in the Tinsukia Division (TSK) continue at a steady pace, said NFR said in a statement.
