SUNDARGARH, Sept. 9 -- The State Government is claiming a lot of development, but the residents of five villages, including school students and patients, under Kutra block in Sundargarh district have been going through knee-deep water in a stream in rainy season due to non availability of a bridge.
A stream flows near Jhirpani Majapada under Kiringsera panchayat. In rainy season, floodwater comes in the stream and the water level goes upto knee level. Not only the villagers of Jhirpani Majhapada but also the villagers of Nuagaon, Kadopani , Rangamati and Badulpani, have been facing difficulties due to non availability of bridge on the stream.
