India, Dec. 19 -- Delhi witnessed intensified checks for BS-VI compliance and valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates at its border points and petrol stations on Thursday, as the 'no PUC, no fuel' rule came into effect to tackle the city's deteriorating air quality.
Commuters without proper certification were denied fuel, resulting in fewer vehicles on the roads.
