Jamshedpur, June 2 -- On the occasion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day Week, a unique workshop titled "Period and Science" was held under the open sky beneath a tamarind tree in Patherdih village of Ghatshila. The initiative, jointly organized by Upgraded Middle School Dhatkidih and social organization Nishchay Foundation, aimed to spread awareness on menstrual hygiene while promoting science education among adolescent girls and women from rural and underprivileged communities.
