Bhopal, June 7 -- The state capital has reported nine COVID-19 cases since April, with four currently active. On Friday, health authorities emphasised that there is no cause for alarm but urged citizens to remain vigilant and follow all necessary precautions.
Officials confirmed that the city recorded one case in April, three in May, and five so far in June. One patient, hospitalised for another condition, tested positive during routine screening. Three others are asymptomatic and recovering in home isolation, while five have made a full recovery.
The city's health infrastructure remains under constant monitoring. Recent mock drills were held in hospitals to evaluate the supply of medical oxygen and the functionality of oxygen plants.
