BHUBANESWAR, March 9 -- BJP State president Manmohan Samal on Friday denied speculations about an alliance between the BJP and the BJD for contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the State.
Returning from New Delhi after attending the BJP's Central Election Committee meeting, Samal said that there was no discussion about any alliance between the BJP with the State's ruling party.
Samal said that the Delhi meeting decided that the BJP would fight both elections alone and it would try to form the next government in the State.
