Ranchi, Feb. 5 -- NML Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining Project head Faiz Taiyab today shared that by January 31, 2025, the project had achieved a total coal production of 14.48 million metric tons (MMT), which is 85.15% of the financial year's target. Dispatches have achieved 85.02% of the target, with a total of 3,854 rakes. Notably, in January 2025, the project reached its highest-ever coal production and overburden removal, at 1.64 MMT and 7.46 MCM, respectively.
Taiyab was addressing media persons in a press conference on Tuesday, where the project's major achievements and community welfare initiatives were highlighted.
