India, Nov. 10 -- In a massive crackdown against the Overground workers (OGW) and terrorist sympathisers, special teams constituted by the Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday detained nine people, including a woman from different parts of the Kashmir valley. A similar exercise was conducted across the Jammu division. The searches were intensified as intelligence reports suggest that terrorists operating in the higher reaches are looking for safe hideouts in the plains for the winter.
