New Delhi, March 25 -- The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, have launched the Sar Salamat toh Ghar Salamat campaign to enhance highway emergency response. This initiative, launched on World Head Injury Awareness Day, will train thousands of ambulance personnel and Haryana Police Patrol officers in trauma care.

As part of the program, over 50 ambulance workers received hands-on training at Amrita Hospital on March 23 under Dr. Gaurav Kakkar. The initiative aims to reduce road fatalities, nearly 50% of which can be averted with immediate medical attention. Training sessions will be held quarterly.
