DALTONGANJ, March 4 -- Dr Prof Dinesh Kumar Singh today joined as the regular VC of the Nilamber Pitamber university. He is from the GB Pant university of agriculture and technology Pantnagar. He looked like a man of action, not promises.
He outlined sports facilities in the university along with the studies. The post of the VC here in this university has been lying vacant since February 1.
Speaking to this correspondent the new VC said "My top priority will be to regularise the sessions, in time exams and its results. Delay in these leads to discontent among the students."
He said "We need to have a camp office of this university in Ranchi. It's just not possible to travel down more than 4 hours to reach Ranchi to get any liaison there ...
