Puri/Kolkata, July 4 -- The newly nominated Bengal BJP president Samik Bhattacharya on Thursday called out for a 'flagless' unity of opposition for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's "Visarjan" (immersion in water) "and for Parivartan (change of political power)."

Bhattacharya said, "There has been an all-round collapse in Bengal, so in order to restore our State where no IT worker or an engineer will be rendered into a majdoor (manual worker) and no educated person will have to become a migrant labourer, a time has come to make Parivartan (political change) but Visarjan (immersion) of corrupt rule."
